'The Local Church' is a call to Christians everywhere to see themselves as God sees them: as one Church 'body' in any geographically definable area, such as a city, town or urban district.

Present day denominational and independent 'Churches' are simply Christian congregations within the local Church who prefer to meet together, according to their origin, experience or tradition under a particular name, such as Anglican, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Independent etc.

This Scriptural understanding of the 'local Church' is explained in a booklet entitled: 'Arise Shine'. The booklet spells out this simple yet profound truth, its application and outcome will lovingly be dependent upon the relationship between local leaders, and will eventually be the answer to Jesus' prayer to His Father as recorded in John 17.
